Last week I found myself working in Paris, for a long time friend from my New York days. Obviously, extended my trip to eat and drink, and celebrate the delights of the city while there. I've got quite the list, from a combined amount of trips and weekends away.
If you know me well, you'll be aware of my love for pastries, particularly the type with any kind of stewed apple scenario within. I've been on a hunt to find the best chausson aux pommes in Paris for years. My favourite pastry, and nobody does it like Poilane. Grab one, go for a coffee at fringe around the corner and sit on the little bench in the square opposite. Breath in the sunshine and people watch. You won't regret it!
Where: POILANE: 38 Rue Debelleyme, 75003 Paris, France
Order: chausson aux pommes
Then waltz around the corner to FRINGE at 106 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris, France
Order: Any coffee you like, I loved their filter of the day
My favourite dinner spot: Le Grand Bain
Location: 14 Rue Denoyez, 75020 Paris, France
What to order: Anything, and everything. Particularly had a exceptional whipped pate situation that was to DIE FOR. Super nice team working there,
